Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve such harmful effects due to covered-binding with a binding needle that printed matter is difficult to open, sheets tear, a user gets injured with the binding needle and the like when the user opens the printed matter with covered-binding.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a needle binding part which binds a sheet bundle with a binding needle at a folding position formed when the sheet bundle is folded into two; a sheet folding part which folds the sheet bundle into two at the binding position with the binding needle; and a needleless binding part which binds a fore edge side of the sheet bundle folded into two without using a needle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
