Abstract:
To prevent punching chips from dropping when a storage unit is detached.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a storage unit which is detachable from the sheet processing device and stores punching chips generated by punching means; a moving part which supports the punching means and is movable together with the punching means; and a receiving part which is positioned between the moving part and the storage unit and receives the punching chips from the punching means via the moving part while supporting the moving part. When the storage unit is detached in a state that the punching chips stored and accumulated in the storage unit reach the receiving part, a part of the punching chips which has reached the receiving part is collapsed by the receiving part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
