Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of preventing a sheet after skew correction from skewing again, and improving the quality of a product by forming a crease or fold having no skew in the central part of a sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 100 comprises: a conveyance path 103 for conveying a sheet S after an image has been formed by a copying machine body 200; a creasing part 600 disposed on the conveyance path 103 for forming a crease at a prescribed position of a length along a conveying direction of the sheet S; a first register roller pair 105 and a second register roller pair 106 which are applied when correcting the screw of the sheet S and disposed on the downstream side of the creasing part 600 at intervals along the conveying direction of the sheet S; and a CPU 151 for controlling the two roller pairs and the creasing part 600. When the creasing part 600 forms the crease on the sheet S, the CPU 151 executes control to determine as to which of the first roller pair or the second roller pair may be applied corresponding to the length of the sheet S in the conveying direction.
