Abstract:
To accurately carry out the switch back conveyance of a sheet performing folding processing.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device is equipped with a conveying path that has a guide surface for guiding a sheet conveyed in a predetermined conveying direction, a rotator pair 22 that can convey the sheet in a first direction in which the sheet conveyed in the conveying path is sandwiched with a nip portion and rotated to pull in the sheet for performing folding processing, and in a second direction in which the sheet subjected to the folding processing is switched back to return to one direction side in the conveying direction, a pressing member 30 that presses the sheet folded by the rotator pair toward the second direction, and a supporting portion 31 that supports the pressing member. The supporting portion is disposed on the opposite side to the rotator pair 22 across the conveying path 21a, and on the other direction side opposite to the one direction side in the conveying direction across a nip line L1 connecting the nip portion and a tip end portion of a projecting member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
