Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device and an image forming device capable of stabilizing a discharged sheet stack with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A folding machine unit 20 includes a sheet discharge tray 23 from which folded sheets are discharged, in which a one side folded sheet is discharged so that a folded side is on a downstream side in a sheet discharge direction. The sheet discharge tray 23 includes a rotating tray 232 that is rotatable around a rotating shaft 232a. A fullness detection sensor 24 is disposed on an upstream side of the sheet discharge tray 23 in a sheet discharge direction to detect the fullness of the sheets stacked on the rotating tray 232. The rotating tray 232 is rotatable between a first position and a second position where an upstream side end in the paper discharge direction is closer to the full detection sensor 24 than the first position. The rotating tray 232 is in the first position in a state where no sheet is loaded, and can be rotated to the second position due to balance of centroid between the rotating tray 232 and the sheet when a Z-folded sheet of a predetermined size is loaded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
