Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus which effectively crimp-bind a sheet bundle with a small force.SOLUTION: A sheet processing apparatus includes: pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c having unevenness that pressurizes a sheet bundle ST; and a receiving tooth 59 which is arranged so as to face the pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c, sandwiches the sheet bundle ST, and receives pressurization of the pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c. The pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c are formed on an edge of pressurizing plates 53a, 53b and 53c which reciprocate vertically from a direction crossing a receiving surface of the receiving tooth 59. The pressurizing plates 53a, 53b and 53c have cam follower pins 56a, 56b and 56c fitted to a cam groove 41 of a cylindrical cam 40, are moved from a separation position to a pressure-contact position by rotation of the cylindrical cam 40, sandwich the sheet bundle ST with the pressurizing teeth 55a, 55b and 55c from a direction crossing the receiving surface of the receiving tooth 59, and sequentially pressurizes the receiving tooth 59.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
