Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device, a sheet processing method and a bookbinding booklet manufacturable by these device and method, capable of providing the bookbinding booklet excellent in an outward appearance, without impairing simplicity in manufacture.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device 100 comprises: roller pairs 102, 105 and 106 for carrying an intermediate paper sheet of becoming intermediate paper of the bookbinding booklet and a cover sheet of becoming a cover of the bookbinding booklet. The sheet processing device comprises a striping processing device 201 for applying a plurality of stripes at an interval in a sheet carrying direction along a width direction orthogonal to the sheet carrying direction to the cover sheet so as to coincide with a plurality of corner parts of an intermediate paper sheet bundle for covering the intermediate paper sheet bundle. The sheet processing device also comprises a flat binding processing part 700 for loading the intermediate paper sheet bundle and the cover sheet in a state of aligning the respective upstream ends and a stapler 132 for forming the bookbinding booklet of projecting the downstream end of the cover sheet from the intermediate paper sheet bundle by joining the intermediate paper sheet bundle and the upstream end of the cover sheet in an aligned state.
