Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device capable of performing binding processing having high durability against outer force from a direction other than a direction vertical to a binding side.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises sheet support means capable of supporting a sheet bundle made of a plurality of sheets, and binding means that forms a binding part in the sheet bundle supported by the sheet support means. The binding means can perform binding processing of binding the sheet bundle by forming a plurality of binding parts B1, B2, B3, and B4 along a binding side in the sheet bindle, the binding side being one side of the sheet bundle supported by the sheet support means. In the binding processing, the aforementioned binding parts are formed along a convex shape which is convex in a direction separated from the binding side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
