To provide a post processing device that does not restrict a loading amount of flat paper delivery when it is being used as a saddle-stitch loading tray.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device such as a post processing device 300 includes: elevating means such as elevating motors 30, 60 for lifting and lowering loading means, which has a plurality of discharge ports such as paper delivery ports H1, H2, a discharge port such as a paper delivery port H3 for discharging sheets for which folding processing has been performed, and a plurality of loading means such as a first loading tray 20 and a second loading tray 50 for loading sheets or sheet bundles, wherein the number of the discharge ports and the number of the loading means are configured in a relation of the discharge ports>the loading means; and a control part such as a CPU 101 which operates and stops the elevating means at a suitable position. The loading means can be commonly used between the discharge of sheets which are moved by the elevating means and for which the folding processing is not performed and the discharge of sheet bundles for which the folding processing has been performed, and allows the loading means of one upper stage to lower to a position of the available discharge port when the loading means is moved to the discharge port of the folding processing in order to load the sheet bundles for which the folding processing has been performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
