Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device that can improve posture stability of an object to be processed while being processed.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device (work processing device 100) for processing a sheet material (sheet 1) includes: transportation means for transporting a sheet material; a processing tool for processing the sheet material; a processing tool contact/separation part for causing the processing tool to come into contact with and be separated from the sheet material; a processing tool movement part 120 for moving the processing tool in a crossing direction of crossing with a transportation direction in which the sheet material is transported; and a posture holding part 160 for holding a posture of the processing tool. The posture holding part 160 is disposed on an extension line of reactive force to which the processing tool is subjected when the processing tool comes into contact with the sheet material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
