Abstract:
To provide a sheet processing device configured to control processing of inserting a sheet-like medium into overlapped sheets, in accordance with a size (a length in a conveyance direction) of the overlapped sheets, a size of the sheet-like medium (an inside paper), and the number of sheet-like media to be tucked.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device according to the present invention is configured to tuck a sheet-like medium into overlapped sheets in which two sheets are overlapped and portions of the sheets are jointed to each other. The sheet processing device controls processing for inserting the sheet-like medium into the overlapped sheets, in accordance with a length in a conveyance direction of the overlapped sheets, a length in the conveyance direction of the sheet-like medium and the number of the sheet-like media that are tucked into the overlapped sheets. This enables a singular inside paper and a plurality of inside papers to be automatically inserted into the overlapped sheets, which can flexibly meet a user's request.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
