Abstract:

To achieve productivity improvement of a shift discharge process at a low cost.SOLUTION: In the binding discharge process, by the repetition of transporting a transported sheet in the reverse direction on a processing tray 220 by a raking paddle 240A, batting the rear end of the sheet against a rear end regulating member 290, thereafter moving the sheet by an alignment part 270A in the shift direction and positioning it at the binding position, multiple sheets are positioned at the binding position, and the binding process is performed on them. The multiple bound sheets are discharged onto a loading tray 300 by an upper side discharge roller 230A and a bottom side discharge roller 230B. In the switch back-less shift discharge process, the transported sheet is shifted in the shift direction by the alignment part 270A by driving the drive part without performing the transport in the reverse direction by the raking paddle 240A and is discharged by the upper side discharge roller 230A and the bottom side discharge roller 230B to the loading tray 300.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
