Title:
SHEET FOR PROTECTIVE AUTOMOTIVE COATING FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10287852
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a sheet for protective an automotive coating film, bondable to the incompletely cured flexible automotive coating film comprising a two-part type urethane-based coating material, hardly causing deformation in the coating film at ends, etc., of a tacky agent layer even when allowed to stand in the open air at a high temperature, etc., in the summer season, etc., further hardly leaving a mark and capable of readily peeling the tacky agent layer from the coating film without leaving a paste while maintaining advantages of the sheet for protecting the coating film in that protecting functions for acid rain, suspended materials or colliding materials such as dust, rubbish, stones or grains are excellent and the coating film can simply and uniformly be protected and easily peeled and removed film without causing environmental problems.

This sheet for protecting an automotive coating film is a sheet for protection in order to bond to the incompletely cured automotive coating film comprising a two-part type urethane coating material and is obtained by forming a tacky agent layer on a supporting substrate and has ≥75 N/mm2 Young's modulus E and ≤0.035 bending stress coefficient (k) represented by the formula k=Eh3 when the thickness of the supporting substrate is (h) mm. The sheet for protection hardly causes the shape deformation due to a telescoping phenomenon, etc., and can be preserved in a rolled state.
