PURPOSE: To aim at the reconveyance of a sheet in a way of making its both sides turn over without changing the order of conveyance, by dislocating the tip end of a sheet group to be continuously conveyed at regular intervals from each of preceding sheets in order, while leaving the sheet group superposed with the next sheet intact and conveying it in a U-turn as it is.
CONSTITUTION: The paper discharged onto an intermediate tray 47 is pressed downward in its rear end by a rotor 49 having elastic projections and simultaneously drawn into downward aslant, Hereat, the paper sheets being continuously housed inside are fed out in a state of being dislocated, by rollers 51 and 52 acting in combination with a stop member 50 and conveyed forward after turning each paper upside down for conveyance in a U-turn through a belt 58 stretched between rollers 54W56 as contacting a roller 53 and its periphery. Thus, paper can be reconveyed in separation piece by piece with certainty in a way of neither changing the order of the continuously conveyed paper nor being double- fed by a drag.
