Abstract:
To provide a sheet stacking mechanism capable of neatly aligning and stacking even sheets easily electrified by static electricity, and preventing a printed surface from being scratched.SOLUTION: A sheet stacking mechanism 1 includes: a conveyance part 12 which conveys a printed sheet 10 whose upper surface is a printing surface 10a and inclined so that a downstream side is lower; and a cassette part 13 for stacking sheets conveyed from the conveyance part. The cassette part has: a bottom surface part 16 positioned below the conveyance path and having an inclined plane whose downstream side is higher than its upstream side; and a support wall 15 erected upward from an upstream end part of the bottom surface part. An overhang part 14 for preventing sticking of sheets due to static electricity is provided on an upper side of the support wall. When a downstream side edge of the sheet comes into contact with the bottom surface part, the downstream side edge is guided to the support wall side along an inclination of the bottom surface part, and the sheet is turned upside down so that the downstream side edge is received by the support wall, and is stacked on the bottom surface part with the printing surface facing downward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
