Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a thin film supply method and a thin film feeder that are able to supply the thin film where diameter and supply speed of the thin film material roll change, while giving a specified, predetermined, fixed tension to the thin film in pulling out. The solution of the present invention is to provide a thin film supply device by applying a damping force to a thin film material roll 5 while pulling out the thin film 6, comprising a drive shaft 8 that gives a driving force for pulling out the thin film from thin film material roll 5, and a thin film supply device that maintains the thin film 6 that is pulled out under tension. A tension applying device includes: a pulse generator for detecting the RPM of the drive shaft 8 and the thin film material roll 5, a variable brake 12 for varying the braking force when the power supply as supplied changes; and a brake control device that changes along with the change in the RPM ration of the drive shaft and the thin film material roll 5 in accordance with the power supply by means of the variable brake 12.
