Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding cassette with which sheet can easily be set with a simple structure.
SOLUTION: A bottom plate 3 is rotatably attached onto a cassette main body 2. An energizing member 5 is arranged on a lower side of the vertically moving bottom plate 3. A sheet feeding roller 6 is arranged on a front side of the cassette main body 2. A sheet supplying cover 4 is arranged rotatably in the rear side of the sheet feeding roller and in front of the casset main body and is located on an upper side of the bottom plate 3. Tapered projections 3b are formed on both sides of the bottom plate 3. An extended part 4b is formed on the sheet supplying cover 4 at its position of a rotary shaft 4a. The extended part 4b is located at the front side of the projection 3b when the sheet supplying cover 4 is closed. When the cover 4 is opened, the extended part 4b is rotated interlockingly with the cover 4 and abutted against the projection 3b. The bottom plate 3 receives the lower stress and rotated toward a lower direction. A space can be secured between the sheet feeding roller 6 and a leading end of the bottom plate 3 for enabling setting the sheet therein.
