Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet heating/transferring unit in which a user can remove a matter adhering onto the surface of a thermal press roller easily therefrom.
SOLUTION: A sheet assembly comprising a transfer sheet formed with an image and a main print paper laminated on an auxiliary sheet is passed between a pair of thermal press rollers disposed in a casing in order to transfer the image from the transfer sheet to the main print paper. In such a sheet heating/transferring unit, an intermediate gear 50 is interposed between a driven gear 41 fixed to the thermal press rollers 20 and a drive gear 42 coupled with a drive motor in order to transmit the driving force of the drive gear 42 to the driven gear 41 through the intermediate gear 50. On the other hand, the drive gear 42 and the driven gear 41 care be disengaged by moving the intermediate gear 50 and the thermal press rollers 20 can be turned with hand so that a matter adhering onto the surface of the thermal press roller 20 can be removed easily therefrom.
