To obtain a sheet useful as a waterproof fabric, etc., excellent in adhesiveness to resins, tensile strength, tear strength and durability due to possession of water pressure resistance equal to or higher than a fixed value, by resinating a backing fabric prepared by knitting or weaving a combined yarn of filament yarn and short fibers comprising the filament and the short fibers.

A backing fabric obtained by knitting or weaving a combined yarn of a filament and short fibers of polyester, nylon, etc., having ≥8 g/denier strength is resinated with a resin such as a vinyl chloride resin or an acrylic resin to a textured fabric having ≥1,000mm H2O water pressure resistance.
