To provide a uniform sheetlike porous body reduced in pore size distribution in its thickness direction by a wet coagulation method.
The sheetlike porous body manufacturing method includes a process for casting a raw material composition, which contains at least one kind of a polymer material and a void forming material dissolved in the good solvent of the polymer material and a poor solvent having compatibility with respect to the good solvent, on a base material and a process for immersing the polymer material in a mixed solution of the good solvent and the poor solvent. The sheetlike porous body rich in the uniformity of an average pore size from the surface to the interior thereof can be manufactured and the thickness of the sheetlike porous body is more increased than before.
