PURPOSE: Thin and wide ribbons of dried bonito are laminated, treated with a binder solution and pressed with heat to produce sheets of dry bonito shavings with a reduced amount of the binder, said sheets being suitable for use in rolled food, because of its high binding force and flexibility.

CONSTITUTION: A thin and wide ribbon of dried bonito, preferably 1W5cm wide and 3W10cm long, is laid on the mold, preferably a crushed or powdery form of dried bonito is spread thereon, then, another sheet of dried bonito is laminated and a binding solution is sprayed. Finally, they are pressed with heat into a sheet.
