To reduce the number of parts used in a shield case and to improve the efficiency of the installing work of the case by forming a supporting piece by providing a slit hole near the lower edge of a conductive box-type shield case and bringing the supporting piece into contact with the grounding circuit of a wiring board through a projection formed on the lower surface of the supporting piece.
A box type shield case 10 formed by molding a resin has conductivity, because the case 10 is plated with a conductor. At the center of the lower section of the case 10 and near the lower edge of the case 10 which comes into contact with a wiring board 2, a slit hole 7 is formed in parallel with the lower edge. When the hole 7 is formed, a supporting piece 9 which is supported by both ends along the lower edge of the case 10 is formed and a semicircular projection 8 which is brought into contact with the board 2 is protruded from the center of the lower surface of the piece 9. The case 10 is fixed to the board 2 with fixing means, such as bolts, etc., so that the projection 8 of the case 10 can be brought into contact with the grounding circuit of the board 2.
