Abstract:

To provide a shield conductor capable of improving thermal conductivity from an electric wire to a shield pipe by a simple method, and its manufacturing method.

The shield conductor 10 includes a spiral groove 24 by indenting the outer periphery and the inner periphery in thickness direction of a shield pipe, and the inner periphery face of the portion formed with the spiral groove 24 out of the shield pipe 14 and the outer periphery face of a resin layer 12 are adhered tightly. Thereby, heat generated in the core wire 21 at turning on current is transmitted to an insulating resin layer 22 and the resin layer 12, then, transmitted directly to the inner periphery face of the shield pipe 14 from the outer periphery face of the resin layer 12, thereby, thermal conductivity from the core wire 21 to the shield pipe 14 is improved. As a result, the shield conductor 10 is superior in performance of discharging heat generated in the core wire 21 compared with one in which an air layer exists between the resin layer 12 and the shield pipe 14.
