To provide a shield excavation device capable of suppressing the cost in constructing a tunnel.
This shield excavation device 1 is provided with first and second shield excavators 2, 3. The first shield excavator 2 is provided with a cutter head 16. The cutter head 16 is provided with an excavation part to excavate a tip side of the excavator 2 and an outer circumferential excavation part 18 to excavate the outer circumferential side. The outer circumferential excavation part 18 is provided with a copy cutter 25 to be freely projected/retracted from the outer circumferential surface of the cutter head 16 and an expandable jack 26 capable of projecting/retracting the copy cutter 25. The second shield excavator 3 is formed larger in diameter than the first shield excavator 2, and provided with an opening part 44 to which the excavator 2 is fitted. The second shield excavator 3 is provided with an annular cutter head 46. The cutter head 46 is provided with a hole 54 to which the copy cutter 25 is fitted in its inner circumferential wall 52a.
