Title:
SHIELDABLE INJECTOR ASSEMBLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3949253
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shieldable injector assembly with simple configuration, where accidental piercing and unpermitted reusage are effectively prevented.
SOLUTION: The shielding injector assembly includes an injector body part 12 provided with a base end part, a tip end part and a circular groove 32. A locking collar 76 is fitted to the tip end part of the injector body part 12 so as to include a plurality of projections which are engaged in the groove. A collet capable of deforming inwards is formed in the outer part of the rodking collar. A rigid safety shield 54 is attached on the injector body part and the locking collar by a nesting system so as to be slidable from a base end position to a tip end position. At the time of the tip end position, the collet is locking- engaged in the inner side of the safety shield. The collet engaging part is deformed inwards and intimately engaged in the groove in order to prevent separation from the injector body part of the safety shield.
