Abstract:
To prevent peeling of a shield to maintain the performance of the shield even when branch machining is performed to the terminals of the shielded flat electric wire.
A flat electric wire 10 is made as a shield 20, and an outer shield 24 are formed integrally with a plurality of core wires 12, 18. Slits S are formed at terminals of the flat electric wire for branching each of core wires 12, 18. A coupling part 26 is provided at a portion P where the slit S is formed. The coupling part 26 is a means for mechanically coupling the shield 20, and is formed preferably by the outer shield 24 that surrounds the shield 20 and adheres closely to the shield 20 in the form of a nail.
