To provide a shielding device whose first rail and second rail can be operated independently in an easy way.SOLUTION: A pleated screen, including a head box 1, an upper screen 2, an intermediate rail 3, a lower screen 4, a bottom rail 5, a first lifting cord 6 for suspending and supporting the intermediate rail 3, and a second lifting cord 7 for suspending and supporting the bottom rail 5, further includes a first winding member 8 for winding the first lifting cord 6, a second winding member 9 for winding the second lifting cord 7, a first operation cord 13A for driving the first winding member 8, a second operation cord 13B for driving the second winding member 9, and a slack suppressing mechanism 20 for winding the first lifting cord 6 by causing the first winding member 8 in conjunction with the second winding member 9 when the bottom rail 5 is raised by operating the second operation cord 13B and interferes with the intermediate rail 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
