Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift catalyst having higher heat-resistance (higher soundness), the shift catalyst capable of suppressing inactive species generation, and capable of maintaining an initial activity of the shift catalyst at a high level, under a use environment (reduction atmosphere at 500°C or lower).SOLUTION: A shift catalyst makes CO react with HO and converted into Hand CO. The CO is in a generated gas that is generated by gasification of a solid fuel including carbon and that includes at least CO and HS. The shift catalyst includes: an active ingredient including a sulfide; a sulfide adsorptive component configured to absorb the sulfide in the generated gas to suppress decomposition of the active ingredient; and a carrier configured to carry the active ingredient and the sulfide adsorptive component.
