Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent jerk shock without deteriorating accelerating responsivity when a fast acceleration demand is made in a driven state, with reference to a vehicle loaded with a continuously variable transmission.
SOLUTION: This shift control device for a continuously variable transmission determines a fast acceleration demand of a driver, and controls the continuously variable transmission to conduct fast shifting when the fast acceleration demand is determined. The shift control device for a continuously variable transmission comprises a driving state judging means for judging that a vehicle has changed from a driven state to a driving state when the fast acceleration demand means fast acceleration from the vehicular driven state (step S7), and a shift controlling means for controlling the continuously variable transmission to conduct the fast shifting after it is determined that the vehicle has changed from the driven state to the driving state by the driving state judging means (steps S8, S11).
