Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift position detecting device capable of specifying a shift position with simple configuration.SOLUTION: A shift position detecting device 10 is configured to output a contact signal S2 to an ECU 14 from a position contact 30 contacting a sliding contact of a movable contact part 26 by the turning of a movable contact part 26 according to an operator's shift position selecting operation and to supply a voltage detecting part 65 with voltage that corresponds to the operator's shift position selecting operation, from the position contact 30 through the sliding contact and the movable contact part 26. When a shift position selected by the operator is not determined by one result out of a signal pattern corresponding to the contact signal S2 from a signal detecting circuit 54 and a digital value of voltage from a voltage detecting part 65, a CPU 58 of the ECU 14 specifies a shift position using the other result.
