Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship including a ballast water treatment device draining ballast water without any environmental hygiene problem.SOLUTION: A ballast pump 5 can be switched between a ballast water flooding operation mode for flowing ballast water outside a ship to a ballast tank 2 to flood the water to the ballast tank 2, and a ballast water drainage operation mode for draining the ballast water from the ballast tank 2 to the outside of the ship, and includes: a germicide supply device 20 having a germicide supply pipe 22 supplying a chlorine-based germicide to the ballast water flowing to the ballast tank 2 in the ballast water flooding operation mode; a reducing agent supply device 30 having a reducing agent supply pipe 32 supplying a reducing agent to the ballast water flowing in the ballast water pipe 4; and a residual injection pipe 40 communicating the germicide supply pipe 22 with the reducing agent supply pipe 32 so as to inject a germicide residual in the germicide supply device 20 to the reducing agent supply pipe 32 of the reducing agent supply device 30 after completion of the ballast water flooding operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
