Abstract:
To provide a ship maneuvering system capable of preventing an increase in distance between a ship and a ship operator who has fallen overboard, and to provide a ship including the same.SOLUTION: A ship maneuvering system 102 includes: a ship operator fob Fo carried by a ship operator; and a communication unit 60 which is installed on a ship 100, wirelessly communicates with the ship operator fob, and has a falling overboard detection function of detecting that the ship operator has fallen overboard on the basis of a state of communication with the ship operator fob. The ship maneuvering system further includes a ship maneuvering controller 50 which is installed on the ship and controls an outboard motor 1 as a propulsion device. When it is detected that the ship operator has fallen overboard, the ship maneuvering controller 50 performs fixed-point holding control to control the outboard motor 1 so as to hold the ship at a fixed position. It may be made possible to discontinue the fixed-point holding control by remote control from the ship operator fob.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
