Abstract:
To provide a ship propulsion system and a ship that are capable of moving a hull in a lateral direction, while preventing the propulsion machines from increasing in number, in a constitution comprising a main propulsion machine and an auxiliary propulsion machine respectively having maximum outputs different from each other.SOLUTION: In a ship propulsion system 100 of the present invention, a control section 50 executes control for moving a hull 10 in a lateral direction by interlocking a main propulsion machine 20 with an auxiliary propulsion machine 30 having a smaller maximum output than the main propulsion machine 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
