PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize passing between a buffer supporting division and a main hull and a superstructure side by realizing a control so that the prescribed point of the buffer supporting division is constantly not deviated from the perpendicular line even when the main hull is in rocking.
SOLUTION: A superstructure is controlled by a buffer supporting device to support the superstructure on a main bull 1 so that the superstructure is kept in the stationary condition even when the main hull 1 is in rocking. In addition, the buffer supporting division 4 is controlled so that the prescribed point of the buffer supporting division 4 on the perpendicular line from the prescribed point on the main hull 1 in the stationary condition follows the movement of the prescribed point of the main hull 1 associated by the ship rocking, and is kept on an approximately same perpendicular line. A lower elevator pit 8 and an upper elevator pit 9 are provided in the vicinity of the prescribed points of the main hull 1 and the buffer supporting division 4 on the approximately same perpendicular line both in the stationary condition and in the rocking condition. Safe elevation/lowering of the elevator 1 is secured to allow passing between the buffer supporting division 4 and the main hull 1 and the superstructure side.
