PURPOSE: To steer without danger even in the case of an inexperienced operator, by displaying an angle of the power direction relative to the reference direction and propulsive force on a display device arranged in a region where an operator of a ship stays, depending on working condition of a rudder propeller or of a pump jet.
CONSTITUTION: Symbols of each driving device in a liquid crystal display device 1 are two arrow symbol 2 and 3, a symbol of a ship itself is a profile 4 of the ship where the inside blank part is filled, and a reference symbol 5 is a boundary of a ship where the inside is blank, disposed at a fixed position on a display panel. The figure shows a display of a working condition at the movement, relative to the reference symbol 5, of a ship 4 due to transfer movement and horizontal displacement caused when the ship sails at not full speed. Driving devices are engaged with a transmission part according to arrow heads, and the arrows 2 and 3 are filled with the bar display by almost three-quarter of maximum power, and the directions of both the arrows indicate the directions of propulsion jet nozzles turning to both the driving devices. A point on the side of the ship moves on a line 7, and the line 7 indicates the direction of sailing at the same time.
