To provide a device of reducing increase of in-wave resistance for a marine vessel capable of attaining reduction of the increase of the in-wave resistance by reducing bluntness coefficient, also exhibiting not only effect of reduction of the increase of the in-wave resistance relative to a front wave but also resistance reduction relative to an oblique wave, also easily mounted to an existing vessel and attaining energy-saving of the whole of the marine vessel.
The device of reducing the increase of the in-wave resistance for the marine vessel includes an approximately triangular addition article 10-1 provided on a bow distal end position 3 of a hull 1 and having a plane angle forming an angle β or less formed by two crossed linear lines drawn from the bow distal end position 3 and contacted with a shoulder portion 4 of the bow part 2; and a support member 20 for mounting the addition article 10-1 to a higher position than a draft of the hull 1. A projection area of the support member 20 viewed from a front side of the hull is not more than a projection area of the addition article 10-1.
