Abstract:
To provide a ship capable of boosting a free rotation of a rotating blade at a downstream side.SOLUTION: A ship 1 comprises a rotating blade 60A and a rotating blade 60B. The rotating blade 60A is provided at an upstream side of the rotating blade 60B against a water flow WF. Hence, the water flow WF flowing toward the rotating blade 60A and the rotating blade 60B flows toward the rotating blade 60B as a wake flow RF after influenced by the rotating blade 60A. The rotating blade 60B is freely rotated by the power of the water flow WF without receiving a mechanical rotating force for a prescribed purpose (recovery). In response, the structure of the rotating blade 60A at upstream can be so adjusted that the free rotation the rotating blade 60B at downstream is boosted. That is, the structure of the rotating blade 60A at upstream can be so adjusted that the water flow passing through the rotating blade 60A becomes the flow boosting the free rotation of the rotating blade 60B at downstream. Therefore, the free rotation of the rotating blade 60B at downstream can be boosted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
