Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an insufficient oil loading by making host computor in an office operative in conjunction with local computors in oil feeding areas.
CONSTITUTION: The delivery data based on vehicle identification number is stored in the host computor 9 in an office and the driver of a tank lorry carrying with him a card bearing the vehicle identification number has the tank lorry parked in oil feeding areas Aa and Ab and the local computors 8a and 8b read the card. The local computors 8a and 8b display the delivery data sent from the host computor 9. Based on this display, the oil is fed into the tank lorry, the local computors 8a and 8b send the amount of oil fed to the host computor 9 after completion of the oil feed and the driver moves the tank lorry to the office to have the host computor 9 read the card. The host computor 9 prints out a slip bearing the oil feed data and the driver receives this slip and drives the tank lorry to an oil delivery station. This prevents an incorrect oil loading due to the failure of the driver to request for a sufficient or correct amount of oil.
