Abstract:
PURPOSE: To launch a ship easily and without any concern about the overturn thereof by supplying a fluid like the air into each bag body of many bag type jacks under pressure for keeping a ship afloat from a launching way.
CONSTITUTION: A launching way 1 is provided so as to have downward slope in a launching direction and a ship 2 is placed thereon. In addition, a slip way 3 having approximately similar slope is laid under the ship 2. Many bag type jacks 8 having a contractible body at the outside of an elastic bag body are laid between the upper surface of the slip way 3 and the ship 2 via a lubricant. Then, a fluid is supplied to the bag type jacks 8 under pressure to keep the ship 2 afloat from the launching way 1, and the ship 2 is made to slide on the slip way 3, together with the jacks 8, thereby being launched. According to this construction, the ship 2 is launched simply by supplying a fluid like the air to the jacks 8 under pressure. Thus, the ship 2 can be easily and safely launched.
