Title:
SHIRT-FINISHING MACHINE HAVING STRETCHING FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3799576
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stretch and press a shirt which has shrunk by washing, to a brand new state, reduce the press cost by simplifying the structure of a shirt-finishing machine, and prevent the enlargement of a size in the lateral direction.
SOLUTION: This shirt-finishing machine is equipped with a pressing stand 2 having a convex upper surface 2a on which the collar 1a of a shirt 1 is mounted, and a pressing iron 3 having a concave ironing surface 3a which presses the upper surface 2a of the pressing stand 2. The radius of curvature R of the upper surface 2a of the pressing base 2 is set to be lager than the radius of curvature r of the ironing surface 3a of the pressing iron 3. The pressing stand 2 is divided into the right and the left from the central location, and is formed of a pair of right and left divided bodies 21 and 21. Then, the shirt-finishing machine is equipped with a pressing mechanism 11 for turning respective divided bodies 21 to the upper external side and pressing them to the ironing surface 3a of the pressing iron 3 when the collar 1a is pressed.
