Abstract:
To provide a shock absorber capable of easily achieving desired damping characteristic.SOLUTION: A shock absorber 1 includes a first expansion/contraction portion 10, a second expansion/contraction portion 20, and a damping portion 40. The first expansion/contraction portion 10 and the second expansion/contraction portion 20 can be expanded and contracted by forming a first pressure chamber R1 and a second pressure chamber R2 to be filled with a working fluid inside. The damping portion 40 communicates the pressure chambers R1, R2 with each other. The damping portion 40 applies resistance to flow of the working fluid circulated between the pressure chambers R1, R2 in accompany with expansion/contraction of the pressure chambers R1, R2. Further, the damping portion 40 has a first cylindrical body 41 and a second cylindrical body 42. The cylindrical bodies 41, 42 have elasticity, and orifices 41A, 42A are formed to communicate internal spaces with external spaces of the cylindrical bodies 41, 42. The cylindrical bodies 41, 42 are disposed in the pressure chambers R1, R2 in a state that the working fluid is circulated to the orifices 41A, 42A to be circulated between the pressure chambers R1, R2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
