To provide a shock absorbing article, when a product instantly receives a great shock, alleviating the shock in mutiple stages, having sufficient residual strength even after exertion of function.

This shock absorbing article comprises a part or the whole of a connecting part which connects a product to an opponent to be connected, having a property of performing irreversible transformation such as breakdown, elongation, etc., when a previously arbitrarily set load is applied to the connecting part, is composed of plural kinds of constituent materials 2, 3 and 4 having set loads changed in stages. When tensile load becomes a shock exceeding each set value or a load close to the shock (hereinafter shock), the plural constituent materials 2, 3 and 4 perform irreversible transformation in stages. Consequently the plural constituent materials alleviate the shock in stages and have sufficient residual strength even after exertion of function.
