To provide a shoe that has high air-permeability and high drainability for the purpose of reducing sweatiness of the foot caused by heat and humidity inside the shoe and that impairs no wearing comfort.

Lateral grooves 8 and vertical grooves 9 are provided in the treading part of the front foot side in the lower surface of a midsole 4. The lateral grooves 8 and the vertical 9 are communicating with each other, with the lateral grooves 8 reaching the left and right side surfaces of the midsole 4 and communicating with openings 6 for ventilation. Further, the lateral grooves 8 are formed deeper from both sides of the midsole 4 to the center part in the width direction. In addition, in the treading part of the front foot side in the upper surface of the outsole 5, projecting lines 11 are provided, protruding upward along the lateral grooves 8 and the vertical grooves 9. The air ventilation hole has an arch shape formed from the lateral grooves 8, the vertical grooves 9 and the projecting lines 11.
