Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a device which enables the shining of shoes simply without staining hands and clothings by allowing close contact on the heel and the toe of a shoes.

CONSTITUTION: A handle 2 is so arranged that the shoeshining device is placed into a shoes and when a knob 15 is turned, an oval disc 1 connected directly to the knob 15 turns to press metal pieces 3 and 4 at the tip of the handle 2 expanding the interval between the metal pieces 3 and 4. Then, square bars 5 and 6 fixed outside the metal pieces 3 and 4 and a spherical leather bag 8 mounted at the tip thereof extends horizontally to fix the device with the heel and the toe of the shoes. This constitution utilizes a change in force which is applied to the metal pieces 3 and 4 by the oval disc 1.
