The shop management system comprises a shop side control means 12 for sampling the management information of showcases, refrigerators, refrigerating machines, and air conditioning, illumination and room temperature of the shop and controlling operation of the showcases, and a maintenance side control means 13 provided in a section for maintaining the showcases and the refrigerating machines and sampling the information from a plurality of shop side control means through a communication means. The maintenance side control means 13 stores information obtained from the shop side control means 12 in a storing means, performs alarm prevention based on the operational information of the showcases and refrigerators, and displays parts requiring inspection or repair. Furthermore, optimal control is performed including illumination and air conditioning.
