PURPOSE: To provide a shopping card system capable of executing shopping without receiving a commodity in each shopping and carrying any shopping bag at the time of shopping several kinds of commodities in a store.

CONSTITUTION: Respective registers 1 in a store are respectively provided with magnetic card readers/writers 4 and connected to a host computer 2 through communication cables 3. Each register 1 totalizes the number of purchased commodities and the total amount of the commodities in each customer, and at the time of customer's leaving, a magnetic card reader/writer 4 arranged on an exit of the store adjusts the price of the purchased commodities so that the customer collectively received the purchased commodities. Consequently a customer can execute much shopping without carrying many shopping bags and collectively execute adjustment.
