Abstract:
To provide an inspection method for inspecting the presence or absence of a short circuit in an all-solid-state battery assembly with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a short circuit inspection method including the steps of: preparing an all-solid-state battery assembly 10; preparing a restraint jig 20 including a pair of restraint plates 22a, 22b sandwiching the all-solid-state battery assembly 10 in a thickness direction Z, and a restraint member 23 including a bolt 24 and a nut 28 screwed onto the bolt 24, the thermal expansion coefficients of the bolt 24 and the nut 28 being each equal to or greater than α1 where a smallest thermal expansion coefficient among the thermal expansion coefficient of a positive electrode current collector and the thermal expansion coefficient of a negative electrode current collector of the all-solid-state battery assembly 10 is denoted by α1; restraining the all-solid-state battery assembly 10; increasing the resistance of the all-solid-state battery assembly 10 by cooling; applying a voltage to the all-solid-state battery assembly 10 and measuring a current; and determining the presence or absence of a short circuit in the all-solid-state battery assembly 10 on the basis of the measured current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
