Abstract:
To provide a device for feeding a short fibrous object capable of smoothly discharging a short fibrous object from a discharge port while preventing the short fibrous object from being caught between a bottom plate and a rotary vane.SOLUTION: A device for feeding a short fibrous object includes a cylindrical container 4 having a bottom plate 3, plural rotary vanes 6 arranged in the cylindrical container 4, and a motor connected to the rotary vane 6 to rotate the rotary vane 6. The bottom plate 3 has a discharge port 5 for a short fibrous object and is constituted so that the short fibrous object thrown in the cylindrical container 4 is discharged to an outside of the cylindrical container 4 through the discharge port 5 by rotation of the rotary vane 6. The discharge port 5 has such a shape that a front side edge 6a of the rotary vane 6 in rotating passes an intersection of a central side edge 5a and a downstream side edge 5d in the discharge port 5 earlier than an intersection of an outer peripheral side edge 5b and the downstream side edge 5d in the discharge port 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
