To provide a structurally simple and inexpensive shower bed allowing a relatively small number of people to easily shower an old or sick person without causing pain.

Guide parts 20 are provided at both the front and rear ends of a bed base 10 and are each formed with right and left inclined sides 21 and a receiving step part 22. A bar member 30 is extended between the opposite receiving step parts and a receiver 40 is extended between the right and left bar members. The person to be showered is received in a supine position and one of the bar members is moved upwards along the inclined side to incline the receiver relative to the cross direction of the bed so as to bring the supine person naturally into a side-facing position for showering his/her back and buttocks.
