Abstract:
To provide a shower-type water softener capable of preventing corrosion of a shower hose metal fitting caused by a regeneration liquid splashed thereto during a regeneration operation.SOLUTION: The shower-type water softener comprising a treatment unit filled with an ion exchange resin for softening water to be treated being supplied and a discharge port that discharges softened water having been subjected to a water-softening treatment in the treatment unit and can be connected to a shower hose, comprises a three-way valve 19 which is connected between the discharge port and the shower hose and can manually be switched to a first state of allowing softened water softened in the treatment unit to flow out of the discharge port into the shower hose or to a second state of allowing a regenerated liquid having flowed into the treatment unit for regenerating the ion exchange resin, to flow outside from the discharge port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
